The Union Govt has given green signal to reintroduce cheetah in three locations in India.The project will cost Rs 300 crore in the first year itself and will also displace over 100 settlements.The cheetahs will be imported from African or Iranian parks.They will be relocated at Kuno-Palpur Wildlife sanctuary and Nauradehi wildlife sanctuary in MP and Shahgarh region of Jaisalmer.
