Our Food Habits
We all need food to live.We get food from plants and animals.There are three main kinds of food.
Energy giving Foods- Rice ,potatoes,butter,sweets and sugar are foods that give us energy.We use the energy for everything we do in our lives.
Body building Foods- Grains,pulses,peas,milk and eggs are body-building foods.These foods help us to grow.
Protective Foods- Vegetables and fruits give us good health and are called protective foods.These foods prevent us from falling ill.They also make us healthy.
