    Sports For Children

    By

    Saruf Alam

Sports are a very huge aspect in a human’s life. It is a form of entertainment, activity to have fun and to become healthy. The FIFA world cup, cricket world cup and Olympics are some of the many other sports meet that are shown on T.V and catch the spotlight while taking place. Many children love gathering together and playing a friendly match of football, cricket or other made up activities. This kind of trend has been going on for a long time. Many children in the olden times did the same and many others copied. This trend lasted for a long time and I hope it will stay a popular form of entertainment for the future.

Even though many of us play together, others are staying at home and playing their own games. Now, that the new world has come up, slowly kids are spending more time in their house playing computer games and the other game consoles like the Nintendo Wii or the Xbox 360. They forget about sports and the fun they had interacting with others. If you are a parent then tell your kids to stop these games and go outside and play. It will do them a lot of good.

Sports are very good for children. It helps them grow up (physically) and makes them more able. Like everyone knows, children will become healthier while having fun. It will help the child to be free of all the stress given by the teachers and school. They make many new friends and this keeps them happy because they know they have someone to go to. This is totally the opposite for children who enjoy staring at the screen with a little controller. They don’t do much, have no friends and don’t know the feeling of playing with other people.

Sports also improves a child’s appetite because hey usually need more energy to go down and play. Sports is also very good for them because it makes them competitive because they want to win when the play against their friends. This also helps them in academy. Most of the games also require a strategy, in football you need a strategy to get past the defense without getting tackled or how to throw a ball to score a 3 pointer. Sports are very good for children but it should not be the only things in their mind because they also need to do well in academics.
